This collection consists of several photographs of Grace Boyle in uniform during World War II, three photographs of a US pilot known only as "Max," Grace Boyle's identification card for the RAAF, and a short biography written by Grace Boyle's son George Beier. Items relating to the World War II service of Grace Boyle (later Grace Beier).

Grace Rose Boyle was born May 8, 1918 in London, England. Near her eighteenth birthday, she immigrated to Australia to be with her father. She joined the Royal Australian Air Force at the beginning of World War II, aiding in the ferrying of American B-17 bombers from Hawaii to Australia. Boyle met John Edgar Beier while they were stationed at US Army Field Artilary north of Sydney. George Beier was born September 14, 1944 in Sydney. Grace Boyle and her son immigrated to the United States in 1945...
